Pastor Eddie D. Alford SR; is a native of Georgia. He accepted Christ around the tender age of twelve years old. He is a humble, and gifted servant of God whose ultimate desire is to do the will of God.

Pastor served honorably as a veteran of the United States Armed Forces for over 22 years. His education includes a “Bachelor of Science” degree from the “Upper Iowa University” and is currently pursuing a Masters in Practical Ministry from Oral Roberts University/New Beginning Training Institute.

He has been ministering for over 22 years on the gospel field for Jesus Christ. In 2014 he became the “Founder and Senior Lead Pastor” of God’s Amazing Grace Christian Ministries, He has been married to his lovely wife Carolyn for 30 years; together they have five adult children and seventeen grandchildren.

Pastor Alford’s desire as a church; is to be within the community proclaiming the Word of Christ, and providing good deeds whenever possible to the community. His community accomplishments have been the establishment of a veterans ministry that minister to veterans and their family members. Over the years; he spearheaded a community-wide job fair to assist the local community in regaining employment.

As a visionary, he implemented a community credit improvement seminar to increase the purchasing power of individuals and family members. His efforts continued by establishing a community marriage enrichment ministry to strengthen the foundation of Christian marriages. A community clothing ministry closet was established within the church to assist with clothing needs. Amongst his future vision; one is to establish a community “food bank” that will feed families in time of necessities for children and their family members.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Pastor Alford spear-headed a food distribution outreach initiative which provided over 3,000 boxes of USDA fresh meats, vegetables, bread, and other essential food items, along with USDA dairy farm gallons of milk. Through the partnership of other churches, outreach ministries, business corporations, friends, and family members. The divine mandate which the Lord gave, came to past and blessed communities, and families in need.

Pastor Alford is a man who loves God; God’s people and His Word. He enjoys family time; relaxing, reading and learning whatever he can to share with others. He enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God with power, conviction, and simplicity at every opportunity that avails without compromise.

Pastor states he loves the young, the elderly and unchurch people groups. The young, because they have so much to gain. The elderly, because they have so much to share. The unchurch because their eternal destiny is at hand.

Somewhere; in between all of that, pastor states you will find his ministry calling and the existence for “God’s Amazing Grace Christian Ministries”. His watchword for anyone is; get to know God first for yourself, and trust Him above all else.

For God told the Prophet Jeremiah; “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you, ordained you a Prophet to the nations” (Jer 1:5; 29:11 NKJV).
